Encounter means “unexpected meeting with something or someone”. Encounter with God – is a meeting with Father, that many of us need so much. Some think that only a new believers need encounter, but it is not true. Even those, who were born in Christian families need this meeting with God, many aspects of their lives remain unresolved: pain, strongholds and demonic curses keep pressing on them year after year. Many believers try to teach others, try to preach, but for some reason there is very little result, because they know only a theory and , very often, a wrong one. You cannot teach someone something you don’t know, something you have not experienced, you cannot see spiritual world with your eyes closed. Encounter is not only directed at you, it changes your life, refreshes and renews you, so you can show God to others, help them to receive their knowing from God. In order for our life to be changed completely, we have to go through a real encounter with God almighty. It is also a meeting with yourself, when you look at your life through eyes of Lord and you seek those changes, that He wants to make. And the last, but not the least, encounter will give you knowing and revelation about importance of church, it will make you think about this world and its great need in Savior.
